The Raven is one of the most prolific creatures in First Nations mythology, art and culture. Known as the “trickster” and “transformer”, the Raven is a relentless schemer, impulsive, cunning, and without remorse. He is the most accomplished transformer of all, having the power to transform himself and other beings. Intelligent and resourceful, the Raven is credited for many creative works such as discovering fire, the operation of the tides and the alternation of day and night. He is the creators chief and original agent.
